 Grandmother AnnaMae, Hopi Elder, needs our help…

Grandmother Pa’Ris’Ha has let us know that Grandmother AnnaMae, the highest in the lineage of the Hopi Peoples, needs your help. Grandmother AnnaMae lives in the old traditions of the Hopi people, and in those traditions, she gives what resources and food she has to the people before keeping any for herself.  Now she needs assistance for her own wellbeing. Grandmother AnnaMae lives in a 6,000 year old stone house in Old Orabi on the Hopi Reservation in Arizona.  The roof of the house has been collapsing and needs to be rebuilt.  Additional repairs and appliances (a propane stove and a propane refrigerator) are needed as well.  A fundraising drive to raise $17,000 for the repairs and appliances has begun.

We ask you, if you feel it in your heart, to contribute to the fundraising efforts.  Any amount, even as small as $5, is appreciated.  Any additional funds raised will be given to the Hopi children for things that they need.  Monies collected will be donated to The Learning Center for Human Development, a 501(c)3, and are tax deductible.

Our Mission

Seeds of Light Mission is to assist with the awakening of the global heart through humanitarian service. We perceive the global heart to be the interconnectedness of all life through tolerance, equality and compassion.

Our approach is twofold. We take action with practical projects to support and uplift impoverished and marginalized communities such as : providing access to clean water; creating food gardens; improving overall health of AIDS orphans and vulnerable children; and preserving endangered species and ecosystems. We also offer a range of trainings to enhance life-skills.
